After coming to aid of the New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) on last Monday’s WWE Raw show, displaying his brute strength against the Final Testament (Karrion Kross, and the Authors of Pain: Akam and Rezar), Odyssey Jones will make his Raw debut tomorrow, today the 405-pounder announced on X via a video clip.
Jones’–who hails from Coram, New York and played offensive guard for Syracuse University football team–real name is Omari Jahi Palmer.
Jones power moves-style of wrestling is similar to Mark Henry, a longtime WWE wrestler former heavyweight champion and ex-Olympic powerlifter. His power is undeniable, setting an 800-pound (363 kg) trap bar deadlift record at the WWE Performance Center Combine, beating the previous mark of 775 pounds (352 kg) held by Otis.
Jones could be headed for a wonderful professional wrestling journey, perhaps an odyssey.
