St. Bonaventure Offers Two Top California High School Guards


St. Bonaventure University Men’s Division I basketball program has offered two California High School guards: Zach White (2026) of Notre Dame High School and Harvard-Westlake’s Joe Sterling (2026), today both players wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Additionally, the 6-foot-5 White holds offers from UNLV, Seattle, Loyal Marymount, SMU and UN Santa Barbara, while the 6-foot-3 Sterling holds offers from USC, UC Riverside, Portland, GCU, among other programs. per VebalCommits.com.

White is a good outside shooter who also owns a solid vertical leap. Plus, he smoothly maneuvers his way to the basket and is able to finish in traffic while absorbing contact. Defensively, he gets into passing lanes and leads the break well in transition.

Sterling, a four-star scorer who plays AAU hoops for Team Clint Parks Skills Academy (TCPSA), possesses elite shooting and play-making abilities, helping him rack up points.

The Bonnies posted a 20-13 overall record and went 9-9 in Atlantic 10 Conference action in the 2023-24 campaign.
