St. Mary’s High School (N.Y.) and Team Lightning Melious 2025 wing Claire Fitzpatrick has verbally committed to Division II Pace University Women’s basketball program, yesterday her AAU coach, Dan Melious announced on X, formerly known as Twitter.
In addition to Pace, the 6-foot Fitzpatrick held offers from National Assocation Intercollegiate Assocation (NAIA) Coastal Georgia and D-I Chicago State, per her X account.
Fitzpatrick enjoyed a tremendous July AAU season, posting 16.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, five assists and 2.5 blocks per game, according to a source.
Pace posted an 18-12 overall record and went 11-11 in Northeast 10 Conference action in the 2023-24 campaign. The Setters tip off their 2024-25 season Friday at 4:00 p.m. with a game against host Caldwell.
