In a move to bolster their minor league depth, the New York Mets have inked right-handed pitcher Rico Garcia to a minor league deal with an invite to spring training, today SportsNet New York (SNY) reported via X, formerly Twitter.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Garcia, 30, posted a 6-3 record with a 3.94 ERA in 62.1 innings of work in 54 appearances last season with Triple-A Rochester in the Washington Nationals organization.
The Honolulu, Hawaii, native has put up a 1-2 mark with a save in 35.2 frames in 30 games across parts of four campaigns with the Colorado Rockies (2019), San Francisco Giants (2020), Baltimore Orioles, Oakland A’s and Nationals.
