St. Peter’s Women’s basketball’s (N.J.) Fatmata Janneh earned the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (ππππ) ππ₯ππ²ππ« π¨π ππ‘π ππππ€ honor after an impressive 25-point, 21-rebound performance in the Peacocksβ 65-60 win over NJIT (2-6) yesterday at home in a non-conference tilt. It was the Peacocks’ (1-6) first victory of the season.
Additionally, the London, England, native shot an impressive 47.8 percent from the field.
Brooklyn’s own, freshmanΒ De’Naya Rippey contributed 12 points in the win, nailing 66.6 percent from beyond the arc, while adding eight boards.
Β St. Peter’s travels to the University of Pittsburgh Sunday at 1:00 p.m. for another non-conference game at the Petersen Events Center.
