Thurgood Marshall Academy (TMA/N.Y.) 6-foot-10 forward AbdouAkim Mazou has picked up his first Division I offer from Norfolk State University Men’s basketball, his high school wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Mazou is averaging 4.75 points, nine rebounds and 1.25 assists per game through the first four Public School Athletic League (PSAL) 4A — Manhattan/Bronx Conference contests this season. In a non-league game against Forest Hills, the senior grabbed 12 boards and made 10 blocks.
Also, he helped TMA (2-2) edge James Monroe, 53-52, Monday night on the road after pulling down 10 rebounds and scoring four points.
The Spartans are 6-5 through the young 2024-25 season, and will travel to Northern Kentucky on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
