The Lancaster Stormers have signed left-handed pitcher Mason Ronan for the upcoming 2025 independent Atlantic League season, yesterday the team announced via X, formerly known as Twitter.
Ronan pitched last year for the Class High-A Jersey Shore BlueClaws, a Philadelphia Phillies affiliate, posting a 2-1 record in 29.2 innings of work in 26 games.
The Boston Red Sox selected the 24-year-old in the 28th round of the 2018 MLB Draft out of Penn Cambria High School (Pa.). But he chose to attend the University of Pittsburgh.
Also, Ronan spent a summer with the State College Spikes of the MLB Draft League (MLBD), going 1-0 with a 4.73 ERA in 2022, and then signed with the Phillies that same year.
