The Lancaster Stormers have signed right-handed pitcher Alex Garbrick for the 2025 independent Atlantic League season, today the team announced on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!The Lock Haven, Pa., native posted a 3.24 ERA in 16.2 innings of work in 15 games between three stops in the Philadelphia Phillies organization in the 2024 campaign.
Garbrick’s overall mark for his four seasons in the Phillies’ minor league system was 6-4 with a 5.33 ERA with 115 strikeouts in his 98 frames.
The New York Yankees selected Garbrick, 26, in the 40th round of the 2019 MLB June Amateur Draft out of Morehead State University (Morehead, Ky.), and then Philadelphia in the 17th round of the 2021 MLB June Amateur Draft out of University of South Carolina Upstate.
