The Lancaster Stormers re-sign infielder/outfielder Kelly Dugan and reliever Jackson Rees for the 2025 Atlantic League season, today the team announced on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Dugan, 34, played with the Grand Rapids Jackalopes of the Pioneer League in 2024, hitting .369 with 22 home runs and 68 RBI in 225 at-bats in 63 games.
In 2023, with the Stormers, he hit eight longballs and drove in 24 runs in 136 at-bats in 39 contests.
Additionally, Dugan suited up for the Philadelphia Phillies, Chicago Cubs and Arizona Diamond Backs’ organizations during his nine years of affiliated baseball. He reached as high as the Triple-A IronPigs (Phillies) in 2015.
Rees, 30, posted a 7-1 record with a 4.25 ERA in 42.1 innings of work in 42 games last season with Lancaster. Also, he pitched in five campaigns in the Toronto Blue Jays organization, reaching as high as Triple-A Buffalo three times in 2021, ’22 and ’23.
