LIC High School’s David McClain Picks Up D2 Pace University Football Offer

Long Island City (LIC) High School (Queens, N.Y.) outside linebacker/tight end David McClain has received an offer from Division II Pace University football program, today he wrote X, formerly known as Twitter.

In addition to the Setters’ offer, the 6-foot-1, 205-pounder holds an offer from D3 SUNY Morrisville.

Defensively, McClain made 54 Tackles. 31 of which were solo, and had three stops for a loss, had one sack, one interception, and caused two fumbles as a senior.

Offensively, he caught nine receptions for 187 yards and four touchdowns.

The Bulldogs put up a 7-1 mark and made it to the first round of the Public School Athletic League (PSAL) Division 2A Conference playoffs.

Pace posted a 2-8 overall record and went 2-6 in Northeast 10 Conference action in 2024.
