Josh Michigan Transfers to St. Thomas Aquinas Basketball from Iona


Former Iona University guard Josh Michigan is transferring to Division II St. Thomas Aquinas Men’s basketball program, yesterday he announced on X.

The 6-foot-4, 195-pound Michigan, a Brick. N.J., native who attended Compass Academy in Bridgewater, New Jersey in 2023-24, played in eight games with the Gaels this past season.

Before college and a year of prep basketball, he drained 1,100 points in four varsity seasons at Brick Memorial High School (N.J.), averaging 15.9 points per game.

The Spartans posted a 25-10 overall record and went 13-3 in Eastcoast Conference (ECC) action in the 2024-25 campaign.
