Ducks Sign Former All-Star Pitcher Kristian Scott for 2026

The Long Island Ducks have signed 2024 American Association All-Star pitcher Kristian Scott for the 2026 Atlantic League season, today the team announced via X.

Ducks manager Lew Ford acknowledged Scott’s pitching success across his career and said he is is excited to see what the righty can do on the bump for the Dicks in 2026.

“Kristian has consistently excelled on the mound throughout his career thus far,” Ford said in a press release. “We look forward to having him be a part of our pitching staff this season.”

Scott enjoyed a wonderful 2025 season, putting up a 2-1 mark with a 2.86 ERA and five saves in 35 appearances (one start) after posting a 6-3 record with a 2.66 ERA and eight saves in 34 games (one starts) during the 2024 campaign with the Cleburne Railroaders of the American Association.

The Pasadena, Calif., native also spent two campaigns (2022–23) with the Schaumburg Boomers of the Frontier League. There, across 81 appearances during that time span, Scott put up a solid 8–3 record with a 2.33 ERA, four saves, and 95 strikeouts against 35 walks over 89.0 innings.

He began his professional career in 2021 with the Gary SouthShore RailCats and the Boomers, making 25 relief outings between the two clubs.

Before turning pro, Scott played two seasons of collegiate baseball at NCAA Division II California State University, Chico’s baseball program.
