Derrick Talton Jr. Transfers to Buffalo Basketball from Oklahoma


Former Oklahoma Wesleyan National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) senior guard Derrick Talton, Jr. is transferring to Division I Buffalo Men’s basketball program, today he wrote on X.

The 5-foot-10 Talton averaged 14.2 points (340) and 4.3 rebounds (104) per game and dished out 122 assists and made 64 steals in 24 contests this past season.

Talton attended Martin High School in Arlington, Texas.

Buffalo posted a 9-22 overall record and went 4-14 in Mid-American Conference (MAC) action in the 2024-25 campaign.
