Newman School’s Atticus Richmond Commits to Columbia Lions Basketball

Class of 2026 The Newman School (Mass.) wing/forward Atticus Richmond has committed to the admission process at Division I Columbia University Lions Men’s basketball program, yesterday he announced via X.

Additionally, the 6-foot-8, 230-pound Richmond held an offer from Lehigh, according to VerbalCommits.com.

Richmond also suited up for the Illinois Wolves 17U UAA squad.

Richmond’s size and shooting ability, along with his rebound prowess, allow him to own a fantastic inside-out game.

The Lions posted a 12-15 overall record and went 1-13 in Ivy League play in the 2024-25 campaign.
