St. Joseph By-the-Sea High School (Staten Island, N.Y.) and Team Lightning Melious AAU 2027 guard Emily Salafia has picked up an offer from NCAA Division II Lander University Women’s basketball program, today her AAU coach Dan Melious wrote on X.
Additionally, Salafia holds offers from D-1 Chicago State, D-II Fort Lauderdale, and National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Coastal Georgia and Tennessee Southern, according to her X account.
An athletic player with an arsenal of hardwood weapons at her disposal, Salafia also holds a flag football offer from Marymount college in Virginia.
The Bearcats posted a 15-14 overall record and went 9-9 in Peach Belt Conference (PBC) in the 2024-25 campaign.
