Texas HS Point Guard Reese Alston Receives D1 Offer from Seton Hall

Class of 2027 Second Baptist School (Texas) guard Reese Alston has received an offer from Division I Seton Hall Men’s basketball, yesterday he wrote on X.

The 6-0-foot, 170-pound Houston, Texas, native also holds offers from Connecticut, Rhode Island, Washington, Arizona State, Florida State, Purdue, Texas, and TCU, according to VerbalCommits.com.

Alston, who also suits up for Cooz Elite AAU squad, is rated as the No. 2 point guard in the nation, per Rivals’ On3.com.

Poised and a wise decision maker, he is a skilled passer who flat out just males his teammates better. Plus, Alston is a great outside shooter.

The Pirates posted a 7-25 overall mark and went 5-11 in Big East Conference action in the 2024-25 college basketball year.
