Class of 2027 St. Thomas More (Ct.) guard Patrick Otey has received an offer from Division I Syracuse Men’s basketball program, today basketball sources wrote on X.
The 6-foot-5 Otey, a lights out long-range shooter, also holds offers from Villanova, Xaiver, Washington, Providence, and Eastern Washington, according to VerbalCommits.com.
Otey, who hails from Westwood, Mass., plays for Overtime Elite (OTE) and has suited up for Brazil’s 16U and 18U national teams in FIBA competitions.
Additionally, he previously attended Cambridge Arts, Technology & Science Academy (CATS) in Boston, Mass.
The Orange posted a 14-19 overall record and went 11-6 in Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) action in the 2024-25 campaign.
