Former Jacksonville State guard/forward Caleb Johnson is transferring to Division I Long Island University Brooklyn (LIU) Men’s basketball program, today the Sharks announced via X.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Originally from Nova Scotia, Canada, Johnson earned Nationally Junior College Athletic Assocation (NJCAA) All-American honors in 2023 and was the leading scorer for Vincennes University, averaging 16.6 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game.
The 6-foot-5, 200-pound suited up for FHC Prep at Father Henry Carr Catholic School in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, before attending college.
The LIU Sharks put up a 17-16 overall mark and went 12-4 in Northeast Conference (NEC) action this past season. It was a market improvement over their previous 7-22 overall mark in 2024-23.
