Class of 2026 Thomas Jefferson (Brooklyn, N.Y.) guard Jahda Swann has committed to Division I Hofstra Men’s basketball program, yesterday basketball media outlets reported via X.
Additionally, the 6-foot-5 Brooklyn native held offers from LIU, East Carolina, Providence, Kansas, George Mason, Mississippi State, Norfolk State, UAB, and Manhattan, per VerbalCommits.com.
Swann, a four-star player, averaged 29.43 points, 14.07 rebounds, and 7.07 assists per game in 14 regular season Public Season Athletic League (PSAL) contests in 2024-25. The former New York Gauchos AAU guard then averaged 20.83, 9.5 boards, and 3.7 helpers per game in six playoff tilts en route to helping the Orange Wave capturing the PSAL Boy’s 4A Championship.
Hofstra is off to a 2-3 start and will travel to La Salle Friday, November 28th, for a 2:00 p.m. matchup.
