Kyle “KJ” Jackson of the Savannah Bananas of the Banana Ball Championship League (BBCL) yesterday became only the second played in league history to hit for the cycle, the first for his team, according to the BBCL’s X account.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Jackson, a third baseman, completed the cycle after slugging a home run in the top of the fifth inning of the Bananas’ 3-1 win against the Indianapolis Clowns.
The 29-year-old played four years at Kent State before turning professional.
Jackson earned the 2019 Mirror Player of the Year after helping Bowling Green High School (Ohio) to a 23-5 record and number three state ranking.
