Righty Miles Langhorne to Pitch for Team Great Britain at 2026 WBC


Miles Langhorne, a former Trenton Thunder (MLB Draft League) right-handed pitcher, will represent Team Great Britain at the 2026 World Baseball Classic (WBC) in March, yesterday the team announced via X.

Langhorne, who has English descent, appeared in five contests for the Thunder, striking out 21 batters in 17.2 frames.

He pitched in the Milwaukee Brewers’ minor league system, going 3-0 with a 5.17 ERA in 38.1 innings of work in 27 games for both the Single-High-A Carolina Mudcats and Wisconsin Timber Rattlers in 2025.

The 22-year-old is a former top high school prospect out of Greenwich High School in Connecticut and previously pitched two seasons in college at UNC Charlotte.

The WBC begins on March 5, as Chinese Taipei faces Australia. The WBC will be played

Pool A: Hiram Bithron Stadium in Puerto Rico.

Poll B: Daikin Park / Minute Maid Park (Houston host site).
