The Chicago Dogs have signed Nick DeCarlo–a right-handed pitcher from Hackensack, N.J.–for the upcoming 2026 American Association campaign, yesterday the team announced via X.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!DeCarlo pitched with the Carolina Mudcats (Single-A) and Arizona Complex League Brewers in Milwaukee’s farm system before playing with the Tri-City Valley Cats of the MLB Partner League’s Frontier League, where he posted a 3.38 ERA in eight innings of work in seven games.
DeCarlo toed the rubber for Division I Wagner College in 2020 and 2022 and finished up at D2 Felician University in 2023 and 24 before turning professional with the Valley Cats.
He attended Jackson Liberty High School in Jackson, New Jersey.
