The Lake Country DockHounds have transferred the contract of outfielder J.T. Benson to the New York Mets, today the American Association announced via X.

Also, Benson, 23, suited up for the Evansville Otters, lacing .295 with 10 home runs and 40 RBI in 285 at-bats in 80 games in 2025.
The Crestwood, Kentucky, native lettered four years in baseball and football at South Oldham High School in the Bluegrass State.
