Alex Rodriguez spent 22 seasons in MLB with the Seattle Mariners, Texas Rangers, and New York, clubbing .295 with a total of 3115 hits, 696 home runs, 2086 RBI, and 329 stolen bases in that time span.
Additionally, the accolades for the former slugger are downright impressive.
He is a 14 time All-Star (1996–1998, 2000–2008, 2010, 2011); World Series champion with the Yankees in 2009; three-time American League MVP (2003, 2005, 2007); two-time Gold Glove Award (2002, 2003);
10-time Silver Slugger Award (1996, 1998–2003, 2005, 2007, 2008);
four-time AL Hank Aaron Award (2001–2003, 2007); MLB batting champion in 1996;
five-time AL home run leader (2001–2003, 2005, 2007); and two-time MLB RBI leader (2002, 2007).
The Mariners selected Rodriguez in the first round, first overall, of the 1993 MLB June Amateur Draft out of Westminster Christian School in Miami, Florida.
