Muhammad-Gray’s quick first step allows him to blow by defenders and finish on the regular. Plus, when he is face-guarded, and seemly locked up, he pulls out his step back move and bangs home a shot.
From deep, Zaahir Muhammad-Gray is pretty much a sure thing as there is on the prep basketball scene. And he can pass well, too.
The Pride posted a 24-11 overall mark and went 12-6 in Costal Athletic Association (CAA) conference action in the 2025-26 campaign. After capturing the CAA title, Hofstra proceeded to make the NCAA March Madness Tournament but lost in the first round to Alabama, 90-70.
