Michael Curialle, a utility player for the Sioux Falls Canaries of the American Association (AA), has captured the league’s Batter of the Week award after slugging .571 with two home runs and six RBI this past week, today the AA announced via X.

The St. Louis Cardinals selected the 25-year-old in the 12th round of the 2022 MLB June Amateur Draft out of the University of California, Los Angeles.
Curialle played college baseball at JSerra Catholic High School in San Juan Capistrano, Calif. As a senior, he slashed .413/.457/.666 en route to Collegiate Baseball Second Team High School All-American honors.
