Gainbridge Super League has named Brooklyn FC Women’s team member forward Catherine Zimmerman on the Team of the Month bench for September, today the team announced through a press release.

Her biggest performance came in the game on September 13, as the team won 3-2 against Sporting JAX, who were top of the league at the time. Zimmerman scored two goals in the match, in the fifth and 82nd minutes, with the second goal sealing the victory for Brooklyn.
Zimmerman had also contributed an assist, and three key passes this season while maintaining over a 77 percent passing accuracy.
Zimmerman currently is tied for sixth in the league for tallies, as Brooklyn reaches the halfway point of the season.
Brooklyn FC Women’s squad has three consecutive home matches at the start of October. They host Fort Lauderdale United on October 2nd at 7 p.m. ET, and then Dallas Trinity on October 10th, and Tampa Bay Sun on October 24th.
