Brooklyn FC head coach Alex Smith said that Kevorkia’s aurora and self-esteem, coupled with her big play skill, will be huge assets to the team.
“Sophine brings a tremendous presence and confidence to the goalkeeper position,” head coach Alex Smith said in a press release. “Her composure, competitiveness, and ability to make big saves will be invaluable to our team this season. We are thrilled to welcome Sophine to Brooklyn and look forward to seeing her make an impact.”
Sophine Kevorkian transferred to LSU for her last two years and earned the starting spot. She led LSU to the Southeast Conference (SEC) Championship match in her senior campaign while also making it to the Sweet 16 in the NCAA tournament, the deepest run in school history.
