Former Mets Player Chance Sisco Named American Assocation Catcher of the Year


Chance Sisco, a former New York Mets player now with the Chicago Dogs, has been named the American Association's Catcher of the Year. In 94 games this season, he batted .298 with 17 home runs and 61 RBI. Previously, he played for the Baltimore Orioles from 2017-2021.

After starting the year in Mexico, Sisco played for Long Island, where he posted excellent numbers. He clubbed .305 while slashing .468/.716/ 1.184 along with 11 home runs, 33 RBI and 24 runs in 31 games with the Ducks in the 2023 campaign.
