The New York Mets have acquired outfielder Jose Siri from the Tampa Bay Rays for pitcher Eric Orze. Siri, a strong defender, may replace Harrison Bader in center field.

Syracuse Mets Triple-A Team Secures 3-2 Victory Over IronPigs – Game Recap
Luisangel Acuña and Luke Ritter led the Syracuse Mets to a 3-2 win over the Lehigh Valley IronPigs. JT Schwartz also contributed to the victory. Blade Tidwell pitched but did not get a decision in the game. Max Kranick and Eric Orze excelled in relief. The Mets play the IronPigs today.

Orze made his return to the hill in 2020 and posted a 3-0 record with 2.75 ERA after missing part of the 2018 season and all of '19 due to testicular cancer and skin cancer.
