Vin Timpanelli, a former catcher turned pitcher, transferred from St. Thomas Aquinas to Ramapo College, eventually signing with the Cincinnati Reds. After a successful stint in the minor leagues, he currently excels with the Kane County Cougars.

Staten Islander Kevin Krause Joins FerryHawks for 2023
The Staten Island native briefly spent time with the FerryHawks early last campaign, hitting .308 with one home run and six RBI in 26 at-bats in 10 contests in 2022. He also laced .338 with 10 dingers and 36 runs driven in 148 at-bats in 40 tilts with the Gateway Grizzlies of the American Assocation during the same year.
