Former New York Mets 2018 MLB second round pick and current Minnesota Twins’ pitching prospect Simeon Woods-Richardson had last week off to work on his mechanics in the bullpen and reset himself.
Well, it seemed to have worked for the time being, as Woods-Richardson went 4.2 innings, permitting one run on three hits while walking two and striking out four in Triple-A St. Paul Saints’ (41-28) 6-2 victory over the Toledo Mud Hens (30-39) Tuesday night at Fifth Third Field.
Staten Island native and former Poly Prep Country Day School (Brooklyn, N.Y.) shortstop Anthony Prato went 1-3 with a walk and run scored.
