Vinny Pacifico is arguably one of the hardest working people in sports and entertainment.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! An established professional wrestler who has performed all over the globe, Pacifico has thrown his hat into a new ring, the acting ring, that is. He will be making his thespian debut in Mr. Reset and the Society of Turnbuckle and Bone, a twisted pro wrestling-based horror film centered around a secret society, in which he plays his in-ring character, Vinny “PowerPunch” Pacifico.

Moreover, Mr. Reset, due out this spring, has ignited a genuine passion for acting for Pacifico, who had the added benefit of performing with someone close to him.
“It was super fun because it combined two of my passions: wrestling and horror/thriller,” Pacifico explained. “Through this story, I’ve had the privilege of exploring authentic experiences within a fictional framework and shedding light on what it can be like growing up in the entertainment industry.
“It makes the experience even more meaningful to share the screen with my wife, which brought an added layer of authenticity and personal significance to the project,” he continued. “I am deeply thankful for every opportunity that has led to this moment and for every fan who supports and believes in our work. I can’t wait for audiences to experience it.”
A quarterback at Tottentville High School on Staten Island, Pacifico started wrestling at the age of 14.
The Ring of Honor (ROH) Dojo’s Delirious, Cheeseburger, Jonathan Gresham, Sumie Sakai, and Will Ferrara, all of whom are respected within the industry, trained him for a career in sports entertainment. Pacifico even wrestled for All Elite Wrestling (AEW), one of the biggest promotions in the world.
Now, he has been gracing the squared circle for 12 years running, in 10 countries, and all over the United States, with no ending in sight.
Additionally, while adhering to a torrid pro wrestling schedule, the Staten Island native said he is slated to act in a total of six films this year, including The Forgotten by Echoed Soul Production, Lost Media by Shawn C Phillips, Dead Man’s Creek by Chris Guttadaro, and Between the Living and the Dead by C2C Entertainment.
Pacifico is also working with Fuzz on the Lens, a film-making production company responsible for the Terrifier and Stream franchises.
But all in all, Pacifico has made a steadfast, deliberate effort to keep his work and personal life even keeled despite his hectic schedule. It includes filming, press duties, and squared circle responsibilities, while maintaining his high fitness level, and keeping his family life strong and intact.
“Maintaining a work-life balance is not easy whatsoever,” he said. “I try my hardest to be present in the moment, as well as try my best to always prioritize what’s needed in the now. Thinking ahead in the future all the time as well as consistently always trying to work and not be on your phone is something I try to no longer do. Work has been consuming me for years, and I have missed so many huge family gatherings and moments due to travel. So, I try to schedule everything extremely meticulously now, so I can do my work, as well as make it to my family events and be present.”
Pacifico will be back on the road this week after some down time at home, something he planned out because the action is really heating up going forward, he noted.
Furthermore, he said he extremely fortunate to do what he loves, bar none.
“After this (Mr. Reset), I started to act more in other films, and my passion for film has grown a ton.” Pacifico exclaimed. “Heading to do both wrestling and acting, two passions of mine, are just a blessing and dream come true.”
