Cassidy Kruesi will be heading to Florida post-graduation to study and play basketball at University of Tampa.

Kruesi, a rising junior, scored 219 points, pulled down 51 rebounds and made 33 steals in 28 games this past season.

Kruesi skill set is undeniable: she is a terrific long-range shooter, can weave her way through traffic en route to the basket while finishing, and is a scrappy defender who is not afraid to take the charge.

The Spartans posted a 33-2 overall record and went 19-1 in Sunshine State Conference action in the 2022-23 campaign. Tampa lost in the NCAA D2 quarterfinals, 78-68, to Glennville State.
