Brooklyn Native, Former Virginia State Forward/Center Stephon Roberts Transferring to Saint Peter’s Hoops

Former Virginia State (DII) and Medgar Evers College Prep School (Brooklyn, N.Y./PSAL) forward/center Stephon Roberts is transferring to Division I Saint Peter’s Men’s basketball program, Jon Rothstein Tweeted.

Brooklyn native Stephon Roberts is heading to New Jersey to play hoops at Saint Peter’s.

Roberts averaged 3.2 points and 3.1 rebounds per game in 27 contests this past season.

The 6-foot-10, 225-pound soon-to-be senior averaged 5.3 points per game on 43.4 percent shooting and 57 percent from the free throw line. He also averaged five rebounds, 2.2 assists and 0.8 blocks per contest at Weatherford College in the 2021-22 campaign.
