In the second week of 2023 Public School Athletic League (PSAL) high school football non-league action, more teams took to the gridiron this weekend to prepare for upcoming season play.
Here is how the action shook out in five affairs on New York City gridirons.
Long Island City (A) – 14, Bryant (A) — 14
With 30 seconds remaining in the second half, lightning forced the stoppage of the game in a draw, as neither team won the Battle of Broadway (both squads are located on or near Broadway in Queens) Saturday in LIC High School Field, per LIC coach Joseph Giardina’s Tweet.

Harry S. Turman (AAA) – 30, — Lehman Campus (AAA) — 22
