New Jersey native and La Lumiere Prep (Ind.) junior guard Darius Adams has received an offer from Division I Alabama Men’s basketball program, today different media outlets wrote on X.
The 6-foot-2, 150-pounder folds D1 offers from St. John’s, Fordham, Rutgers, Syracuse, Notre Dame, Washington, Providence, Florida State, Florida, Nebraska, Penn State, Virginia Tech, Tennessee, Xavier, Indianna and Virginia, per VerbalCommits.com.
As a freshman, Adams, who also plays AAU hoops for the PSA Cardinals, paced Manasquan High School with 444 points. He added 134 rebounds, 65 assists and 32 steals to his impressive 2021-22 campaign.
Alabama is 8-5 overall and will travel to Vanderbilt Saturday for a 2:30 p.m. (CT) game.
