Brooklyn’s Keyshawn Mitchell Transfers from VCU to Iona Men’s Basketball

Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) forward Keyshawn Mitchell is transferring to Iona Men’s basketball program, today basketball media outlets wrote on X.

NEWS: VCU transfer Keyshawn Mitchell has committed Iona, source told @LeagueRDY.

The 6-foot-11 forward out of Brooklyn, New York played one season at VCU after playing two at Bryant.

The 6-foot-11, 215-pound Brooklyn, N.Y., native averaged 2.9 points and 2.4 rebounds per game in limited action for the Rams in 17 contests played this past season.

Mitchell attended Bryant for two years and went to First Love Christian Academy in Washington, Pa., before going to college.
