Former MLBer Jackie Bradley Joins Long Island Ducks


The Long Island Ducks have signed former MLB outfielder Jackie Bradley, Jr., a 2018 World Series champion and 2018 Rawlings Sports Gold Glove Award winner, for the 2024 Atlantic League campaign, today the team announced via X.

Bradley, a 2016 American League All-Star, spent 11 seasons in MLB with the Boston Red Sox, Milwaukee Brewers, Toronto Bluejays and Kansas City Royals. Additionally, He was a member of the Red Sox team that defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 2018 World Series.

During his MLB timespan, Bradley, 33. smacked 109 home runs and 449 RBI, scored 514 runs, collected 839 hits, swiped 69 stolen bases, drew 361 walks and had a .303 on-base percentage.

Boston picked Bradley in the 1st round, 40th overall, of the 2011 MLB June Amateur Draft out of the University of South Carolina.
