Rutgers Prep girl’s basketball’s GiGi Battle continues to be one of the hottest rising junior college prospects on the girl’s high school basketball scene in the nation, as yesterday she announced two Division I offers: Columbia and Miami Universities Women’s basketball programs.

Getting undeniably better by the day, Battle enjoyed a terrific season at Rutgers Prep, draining 339 points, grabbing 201 rebounds and making 58 steals in 29 games last girl’s high school hoops year.
Before that, in the 2022-23 campaign, the Exodus NYC 17U EYBL player scored 297 points, pulled down172 boards and made 50 thefts in 30 contests as a sophomore.
Miami posted a 19-12 overall record and went 8-10 in Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) this past season.
