Albany Great Danes Men’s Basketball Extends Offer to Ibrahim Gati, Promising Forward from Niger

Class of 2025 The Darrow School (N.Y.) forward Ibrahim Gati yesterday he has received an offer from Division I University of Albany Great Danes Men’s basketball program, according to reports.

The 6-foot-10 Niamey, Niger, native also holds an offer from Garder-Webb, per VerbalCommits.com.

Gati’s length and long arms allows him to fight for rebounds on both ends of the floor and the ensuing put backs underneath the rim. He is also a skilled defensive player with an ever-improving game. He should be able to garner more D-1 offers in due course.

Albany put up a 13-19 overall mark and went 5-11 in America East Conference (AEC) play in the 2023-24 campaign.
