Southern Idaho’s Jalen Lyn Receives Offer from Manhattan Basketball Program


Class of 2025 College of Southern Idaho (JUCO) guard Jalen Lyn has received an offer from Manhattan Men’s basketball program, he recently wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter. Lyn is a qualifier with three years of college basketball eligibility remaining.

The three-star player held several offers from Division I schools like FIU, Boston University, UAB, among others, before attending Southern Idaho, according to VerbalCommits.com.

Lyn, a 6-foot-3 Queens, N.Y., native, played high school hoops at Hillcrest Prep in Arizona, as well as Tennessee Prep Academy and the PSAL’s Brooklyn Collegiate Lions.

He averaged 1.3 p.p.g. and 1.9 a.p.g. in 13 contests with Brooklyn Collegiate.

The Jaspers posted a 7-22 overall mark and went 4-16 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) action in the 2023-24 season.
