Class of 2026 Casey McKinney paced Wagner High School (Staten Island, N.Y.) Girl’s basketball team with a double-double of 24 points and 17 rebounds, as well as five assists, four blocks and two steals against Summit Academy in a non-league game at home over the weekend.
The 6-foot-1 McKinney, who also suits up for Team Melious Lightning AAU squad, is first on the Falcons in rebounds with 5.7 rebounds and second in scoring with 11.00 points, plus 2.33 assists per game through three PSAL 4A Conference tilts so far this season.
While her size permits her to dominate on the inside, McKinney can step back and bang home a three-pointer to help keep the opposition honest.
Wagner (1-3) travels to Curtis tonight at 5:30 p.m. for a league game.
