Free safety/outside linebacker/wide receiver Hector Garcia of A. Philip Randolph Campus High School (Manhattan, N.Y.) has picked up an offer from the Division III Capital University football program, yesterday he wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
If Garcia decides to commit to Capital, the program will hold him a roster stop.
Garcia, a 5-foot-9, 190-pound senior, helped the Cougars to a 6-2 record and a trip to the quarterfinal round of the Public School Athletic League’s (PSAL) Division 3A Conference playoffs, in which they lost 28-20 to Brooklyn Technical.
The Commits posted a 1-9 record and went 1-8 in Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) action in the 204-25 campaign.
