Class of 2025 DME Academy (St. John’s Northwestern in Delafield, Wis.) center Tiefing Diawara has verbally committed to Division I Syracuse University Orange Men’s basketball program, today sports media outlets reported on X.
Standing at an imposing 7 feet, 240 pounds, Diawara is a promising four-star recruit who competes for Team Herro on Nike’s EYBL summer tour. In approximately 18 minutes per game, he has contributed 4.4 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 0.9 blocks, making his presence felt on the hardwood for his squad.
The Orange posted a 14-9 overall mark and went 7-13 in Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) action in the 2024-25 campaign.
