Class of 2026 New Trier Township High School (IIl.) guard Danny Houlihan has received an offer from Division I Long Island University (LIU) Men’s basketball program, yesterday he wrote on X.
Additionally, the 6-foot-4 Houlihan, who also suits up for Nike Meanstreets EYBL, holds offers from High Point and Western Michigan, according to VerbalCommits.com.
Houlihan is proficient outside shooter who uses a quick first step off the dribble and pass to get himself free for an open look. Plus, he is not afraid to go to the basket and finish.
The Sharks posted a 17-16 overall record and went 12-4 in Northeast Conference (NEC) action this past season. It was a big improvement over their previous 7-22 overall mark in 2024-23.
