Deng also clocked some time at Florida State and Hampton.
He attended Norcross High School in Ga., where he led the school to the Georgia Class 7A State Championship. In that game, Deng scored 14 points, grabbed 12 rebounds, and had two blocks in state the win.
Deng earned a Georgia Athletic Coaches Association All-State Honorable Mention selection and Atlanta Tipoff Club All-Metro Team pick as a senior.
The Tigers posted a 13-9 mark and went 8-10 in American Conference Championship (ACC) action in the 2025-26 campaign.
