Class of 2027 Lovejoy High School’s (Texas) Alex Cheatham has picked up his first offer from Division Iona University Gaels Men’s basketball program, today he wrote on X.
Once Cheatham sets his feet, he is a deadly sniper from downtown. Plus, he can shoot off balance well and distributes the ball as an unselfish ball facilitator. He will have time to grow and earn more offers in the coming years.
The 6-foot-2, 165-pound combo guard also plays for 3D Empire AAU squad of the Pro 16 League.
Iona posted a 17-17 overall record and went 12-8 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) play in the 2024-25 year.
