D1 Murray State Hoops Offers St. Mary’s Guard Morell Toney

Class of 2028 St. Mary’s High School (N.Y.) guard Morell Toney has received an offer from Division I Murray State Men’s basketball program, today media outlets wrote on X.

The Racers’ offer was the first for the 6-foot-4 Toney, who transferred over from Uniondale High School (Long Island, N.Y.), according to VerbalCommits.com.

A talented player, Toney has the strength, quickness, and a knack to get to the hoop on the regular while finishing. Also, he can score in traffic, as well as being off balance. Plus, he owns a sweet outside jumper.

Murray State is off to a 2-0 start and will face host SMU today at 7:00 p.m.
