Brooklyn FC of the USL League has signed a slew of players, including forward Juan Carlos “JC” Obregón, midfielder Arun Basuljevic, goalkeeper Jackson Lee, forward Stefan Stojanovic, and defender Thomas Vancaeyezeele, the club recently announced.
Obregón, a New York City native who represents Honduras internationally, joins Brooklyn after playing for Westchester Soccer Club. He gives Brooklyn FC a scoring punch as he captured the USL League One Golden Boot after scoring 17 regular season goals and was earned the 2025 Player of the Year award.
Basuljevic, a Bronx native, suited up for El Paso Locomotive during the 2023–2024 USL Championship campaigns. The 30-year-old played for BIS in Sweden, where he helped the club to a Svenska Cup upset of GIF Sundsvall.
Lee, a native of Perth, Australia, was a member of Rhode Island FC, where he played for it during the 2024 and 2025 seasons. Collegiately, Lee man the net for George Mason University, appearing in 24 matches with 97 saves over two seasons, then transferred to West Virginia University, where he earned Sun Belt Commissioner’s Honor Roll. As a senior, he became the school’s record-setter goalkeeper in wins with 17.
Stojanovic ventures to Brooklyn from Las Vegas Lights FC, making 17 appearances while tallying two goals for the Lights in 2025. The 24-year-old had played with the U16, U18, and U20 U.S. Youth National squads in international competition.
A French defender, Vancaeyezeele played with the Tampa Bay Rowdies in 2025. Vancaeyezeele, 31, has represented French Guiana in 14 total games and captained the team in the 2024 campaign in league A for the Gold Cup qualifier in 2024.
